About the Inspector

Bill Gunther grew up in a construction family. His father was a general contractor who built homes and commercial buildings. He has over 35 years of construction experience including: working as a licensed electrician, union carpentry, carpenter foreman and building superintendent on major projects.

Bill was a police officer in New York and retired after 23 years of service. During his years with the PD, he also worked as a licensed general contractor with his father and on his own.

Upon retirement, he relocated to the Nashville area and attended and graduated the Midwest Home Inspectors Institute. He has successfully taken the National Home Inspectors Examination and is a Certified Member of ASHI. He attended Auburn University College of Engineering and is an EPA listed Radon Measurement Operator. He is a graduate of EDI ( Exterior Design Institute) and is certified as a third party Synthetic Stucco Inspector and for Certified Moisture Analysis.

Combining investigative skills with his knowledge of buildings and their systems enables him to better serve his clients.
